American Audio Visual, LLC
American Audio Visual specializes in making its customers look good. The company provides detailed and expert operation of the highest quality rental equipment for the audio-visual needs of meetings, conferences and presentations. As a vendor that can handle everything from a full, multi-room convention to an intimate meeting with one six-foot screen, American Audio Visual helps clients eliminate the guesswork from this often tricky and technical part of business functions.
The company’s track record ranges from presentations, to weekend business conventions to helping a philanthropic fashion show come off smoothly.
“We really care about what we do, and we know how to do it well,” says Robert V. Blanchard, director of sales and marketing for American Audio Visual. “We help the client get everything they need, even when they don’t know exactly what they need.”
Providing for the needs of the customer means asking the right questions. Blanchard helps clients do their job by assessing the needs of the guests and providing the right solutions. American Audio Visual provides presentation equipment, projectors, microphones, video screens and sound. They can handle the set up, the take down, camera operation, video switching, data switching and more. In addition to P.A. systems, the company also can provide live sound for bands as well as a disc jockey service.
“American Audio Visual has continuously exceeded our expectations and those of our guests and customers,” says David Funes, vice president of the LSU Alumni Association. “At times, they make it seem as if we are their only customer. The crew at American Audio Visual has been extremely helpful in planning and organizing the audio-visual needs at many of our events, and their employees are very professional and knowledgeable.”
The business was formed in 2000 by Blanchard, Brian W. Gordon and Hans Wax. Each brought years of audio-visual experience to the company as well as knowledge of the needs of hotels and businesses throughout South Louisiana. American Audio Visual was formed to be an equipment and service vendor to the hospitality industry, but its reputation and its reliability have helped it grow beyond this primary focus, fueled by glowing recommendations.
Today, American Audio Visual services companies, organizations and individuals on a wide variety of events, from small sales and training meetings to large awards banquets. One of the biggest advantages for most customers is that the service allows even the smallest meeting facility to have the resources of a full-service AV house without the investment.
“My experience with the staff at American Audio Visual has shown them to be highly adaptable and wellmotivated self-starters. They show up early, stay late and never leave any unfinished business,” says Bob Courtney, president of Courtney Communication. “They’ve provided the highest quality equipment and services at an extremely affordable rate.”
Blanchard says the key to generating those kind of responses—and the referrals that lead to new business—is taking care of the details. When an event organizer is devoting great expense to professional speakers, food and facilities, the delivery of the message needs to be equally effective and professional.
“We customize every show or event to suit the customer, the facility, and the message, and the experience of our staff is the key to projecting the message seamlessly,” Blanchard says.
“Our strength is that we are genuine in what we are doing,” he adds. “We have relationships with the facilities, and we forge relationships with our individual clients. We’ve bridged the gap between large and small venues, and we have the experience and equipment to handle it all. We are in business to help others in business thrive.”
